Our verification data source works from the 15-character GSTIN, so we do not offer a definitive company-name-to-GSTIN lookup, and we would rather say so than return guesses. Company names are also not unique across India, which is why name search rarely produces one right answer.
Four legitimate ways to find a company's GSTIN

Check their documents
Invoices, quotations, purchase orders and contracts must carry the supplier GSTIN.
Check their website
Many Indian businesses publish the GSTIN in the site footer or on the contact page.

Can I search a GST number by company name?
Not definitively. Our verification service works from the 15-character GSTIN. You can search our business directory by name, but a directory match is a lead to confirm, not a verified result.
Where else can a company's GSTIN appear?
On its invoices, purchase orders and quotations, in the footer of its website, on signage at its registered place of business, and in contracts and vendor onboarding forms.
Can I find a GST number from a PAN?
The PAN sits inside characters 3 to 12 of the GSTIN, so a GSTIN reveals the PAN — but the reverse lookup is not something this site offers.
What should I do once I have a candidate number?
Verify it. Enter the GSTIN above and compare the legal and trade name that comes back with the company you were looking for.
